The University of Georgia Athletic Association seeks qualified applicants for Director of Sport and Performance Psychology. Position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine. The Director will coordinate and manage all aspects of psychological services for student-athletes including Psychological Counseling, Sport Psychology, and Learning Assessments. Supervise Graduate Assistants.
As cut and pasted off the ncaa.org employment page. All I can say is wow. Maybe every NCAA athletic department but mine has a full time Director of Sport and Performance Psychologist nowadays? I wonder if this is for the athletes because of coaches or the coaches because of athletes?
